Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure used to treat infection at the centre of a tooth. Root Canal is a treatment to repair and save a badly damaged tooth or surgery instead of extracting it. The term "root canal" comes from the cleaning of the canals inside the root of a tooth. Decades ago, behavioral treatments were often painful. With dental advances and local anesthetics, most people have little to no pain during lead treatment. Root canal alternatives include extraction of the damaged tooth, no further treatment, or replacement of the tooth with a dental implant, bridge, or removable partial denture.
